Art Inspired Wedding

Happy Monday!

I am thrilled to bring you this wedding shoot which was inspired by Van Gogh's The Starry Night and I found over at Junebug Weddings.  A fantastic site for all things wedding!

I truly believe you can find inspiration in anything and everything around you and use this principle to guide my work here at Madly Stylish Events. This wedding shoot is a great example of that!  It was styled and designed by Janice Shellooe of Every Elegant Detail based in San Francisco.

The color palette is breathtaking and the cake! Oh, and the cake is just stunning.  I'll stop now so you can take a look.

First Communion Dessert Table

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of styling a dessert table for a boy's first communion.  I was thrilled with how everything came out and AJ was besides himself that I had done this for him!  So sweet!

Gorgeous Lilac Wedding

The stunning lilac florals in this wedding are just breathtaking.  Flowers just have a way of transforming whatever they are adorning: cake, table, napkins, hair, you name it!

I found this over at a beautiful cliche and was blown away by these lilac beauties.  The tablescape is perfect down to the littlest details. Take a look!

Strawberry Sugar

Looking to jazz up your sugar?  I found this little recipe over at Butterfly Food and it is perfect for summer.....and with strawberry season here, you've got the right combination!  This is a super easy recipe, just two ingredients,  with lots of uses:  You need freeze dried strawberries and cane sugar.  Perfect for ice cream, muffins, and lemonade!  Better yet, you can use it for simple syrup!

Art of Decadent Floral Design!

I am a big fan of the dynamic duo of Karen,  Karen Tran Florals and Aileen of Aileen Tran Event Stylist. Their floral and event designs are true representation of art at its finest.  When I saw the florals they designed for Engage! 11, a luxury wedding business summit, held at the Grand Del Mar, my jaw dropped.  This stunning, life-size I might add, wedding dress is completely made of fresh flowers using hundreds of peonies, orchids, hydrangeas, and roses.  

THIS is what greeted the guests when they entered the hotel lobby.  Talk about creating excitement from the start!!!!  Check out their site for more of their a.ma.zing work!

Stylish Wedding Feature

I don't know where to start!  This wedding is beautiful, chic and oh, so romantic.  Between the color palette, dessert bar and florals, I was completely captivated.  The wedding was held in Los Angeles and I spotted it over at Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book.

Inspirational Words

I found this on Pinterest today and it struck a chord.  This is how I finally decided to give birth to Madly Stylish Events and it has been a labor of love nurturing my little endeavor.  As it continues to grow, I feel truly blessed to do the work I used to do when I used to procrastinate.  Hope it helps you do the same!
